The weather may not cooperate with us for World Tai Chi Day. So here are my present plans - these of course may change. I will post on my blog by 8:00 AM on Saturday Morning whether we are doing outdoors or indoors.
If NOT Raining (Outdoors)
Salem United Methodist Church is graciously letting us use their parking lot for this years World Tai Chi day celebration. Predictions are for rain on Friday day & night (and maybe even Sunday morning).
Salem UMC is located at:
1200 S Lindbergh Blvd
St. Louis, MO 63131
This is at the corner of I-64 and Lindbergh Blvd. You can only access Salem if you headed north bound on Lindbergh Blvd. If you are headed south bound you need to drive past the church make a U-turn (at an approved spot) and approach headed north bound. As you enter the church veer to the right and park in the front lot. We are going to use the lot on the right side of the church (between the building and highway) for our celebration.
IF THERE IS RAIN WE WILL NOT HOLD AN OUTDOOR CELEBRATION OF WORLD TAI CHI DAY. I do not want people crowding together under a pavilion or shelter in these days of Covid.
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR. Again due to Covid we will not be supplying chairs.
If it IS Raining (From Your Home)
If it is raining we will do a Zoom from home (yours, not mine).
WE WILL NOT BE DOING A ZOOM IF WE ARE HOLDING AN OUTDOOR EVENT. It will be either Outdoors or Zoom, not both.
Zoom Link is:
I'm still hoping the weather will hold but right the current prediction is 90% chance of rain.
Check back tomorrow morning. By 8 AM I will have decided if we can do outdoors.
